Son of Elpaal and one of the “heads” of the Benjamites (1 Chron. 8:13¹³Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath: (1 Chronicles 8:13)). Perhaps the same as SHIMHI in 1 Chronicles 8:21²¹And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi; (1 Chronicles 8:21).
