JAM 5:14-15¹⁴Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: ¹⁵And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. (James 5:14‑15)

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church . . . and the prayer of faith shall save the sick.

These are very interesting verses. I have never seen this done, although a friend of mine was present at a session where a sick sister called for the elders in her local assembly. They prayed over her, anointed her with oil, and her prolonged sickness cleared up immediately. Read the verses yourself carefully. Remember, it’s the sick person who has to ask for prayer, and it must be the prayer of faith. Think about it.
