Your iniquities have separated between you and your God.
In the beginning God and man communed together in happy fellowship in the garden of Eden. Then sin came into the world because Adam and Eve disobeyed God and listened to Satan. Since that time man has been separated from God because of sin. It wasn’t God’s choice that the world became corrupted. It was just because of sin. God didn’t make man like an electronic robot that responds to commands from its creator. No, He gave man a will and man used it to his own destruction. By one man, the New Testament says, sin entered into the world and so death by sin. What a tragic end for so great a creation. Sin has separated man from God.
