Teach the Children

Before the child has reached seven,

Have him taught the way to heaven;

Better still the truth will thrive

If he knows it ere he’s five;

Best of all, if at your knee,

He learns the way before he’s three.

“He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom.” (Isa. 40:11¹¹He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. (Isaiah 40:11)).
