Tears

Afterward  .  .  .  [Esau] found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Here is an entirely different type of person who shed tears, but it didn’t do any good. Esau had sold his birthright (this included all his privileges as the firstborn son), and later he wanted to undo the damage he had done. He had despised that which was rightfully his and exchanged it for something of far less value. No amount of tears could help him then. This is the end of all who reject Christ in this life. No amount of tears and pleading will get anyone out of the lake of fire. You only have this life to make a decision for Jesus. Make sure you accept Him while you still have an opportunity.
