Many French soldiers are filling in the postcards and sending for Testaments. Please pray that this work may be richly blessed. The following letter came from a French soldier: ―
“Dear Sir, — I duly received your kind letter of the 14th ult., also the Testament, for which I thank you. I am leaving for the Front the end of this week, and I am but too glad to take the Testament with me as a precious friend. Many a soldier needs encouragement and help when he is to face death. And, when he dies a follower of Jesus Christ, he dies happy. I have distributed the pamphlets amongst my friends. Thanking you again for your very kind attention. — I remain, yours for Christ’s sake,
