The trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth . . . might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

God says that the trial of our faith is precious to Him. How it must have pleased God as he watched Job’s faith tried and proven by fire! The trials that you endure prove the reality of your faith. That is why God not only allows those trials but values them. Job did not realize that he was being tested, but we know from Scripture that the eye of God is upon us during our trials.
