MARCH 29
Joseph  .  .  .  went to Pilate and begged the body of Jesus.
Matt. 27:57,58
Also Nicodemus  .  .  .  brought  .  .  .  myrrh and aloes.
John 19:39
Two loving friends of the Lord took His body down from the cross and buried Him in a new tomb. Normally one who died as a criminal received a criminal’s grave. God saw to it that Jesus was buried in a rich man’s tomb. After this the world never saw Jesus again. The next time they do, it will be in judgment. Woe to those who condemned Jesus and never repented of it - their eternal future will be in the lake of fire.
