Behold the Lamb of God!
Five words - spoken with conviction and feeling and admiration. Five words is all it took for two of his disciples to leave John the Baptist and follow the Lamb of God. But with those five words John introduces the Son of God to this world and finishes the work that God had prepared him for. John now steps aside and Jesus starts His public ministry. I had rather, the Apostle Paul said, speak five words with my understanding, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. What an effect five words can have. Make them count!
