And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter.
The look that melted Peter’s heart;
That caused the bitter tears;
Was a silent word of tenderness,
Sounding loud in Peter’s ears.
Remembering what he had done
He wept so bitterly.
He left the warmth of worldly fires -
The LOOK had set Him free.
