The Lord

And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD.
“The LORD” here is really “Jehovah” - a Hebrew word used 6,823 times in the Old Testament. It shows us God’s character as the ever-existing One. It is related to the verb “to be” and used in His revelation of Himself as the “I AM.” This is the same God that cares for you today.
