The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
The Lord does not like to bring us under discipline. Sometimes it is necessary because we have a lesson to learn that cannot be learned any other way. But the Lord is so merciful. He loves to shower us with blessings and kindness. The many things that are part of daily living, like food and clothes, are a result of His goodness to us. Let us praise the Lord for His goodness and His wonderful works to the children of men.
