The Lord’s Coming

1TH 4:16¹⁶For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (1 Thessalonians 4:16) 1CO 15:51-52⁵¹Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, ⁵²In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:51‑52)

The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven . . . with the trump of God. We shall all be changed . . . in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump.

When the Lord comes, the last thing we shall hear is the sound of the trumpet. When this trump of God sounds, the bodies of believers, both dead and alive in Christ, will be instantly changed into glorified bodies like the Lord Jesus. No more death, no more doubts, no more suffering. In the blink of an eye we shall put on immortality and incorruption for eternity. Then we shall all rise up together to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Perhaps today!
