After the cross― “The crown,”
After earth’s loneliness— “Forever with the Lord,”
After the suffering― “No more pain,”
After all the sorrow― “Fullness of joy,”
After the weariness― “The rest of heaven,”
After the sighs of earth― “The glad new song,”
After the “sowing in tears”― “The reaping in joy,”
After our “light affliction, for a moment”— “A far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
