The Saviour is gracious,
His love is a well;
His love is most precious,—
It’s worth, who can tell?
He loved us so truly,
He came from the sky,
That He, the Most Holy,
For sinners might die.
From heaven, His dwelling,
That bright, happy place,
He sweetly is telling
Us all of His grace.
The love of a mother
And father is great;
The love of a brother
And sister so sweet.
Yet, who but the Saviour
For us would have died,
That we, blest forever,
With Him might abide?
In mercy delighting
He speaks from above,
Dear children inviting,
To trust hi His love.
