My Little Friend Annual: Volume 2 (1877)

Elijah the prophet said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up and said, There is nothing. And Elijah said, Go again seven times (
1 Kings 18:43

persons that were saved in Noah’s Ark (
1 Peter 3:20

Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. (1 Peter 3:20)
).
The
nine
lepers that were cleansed, but only one returned to give God thanks. Jesus said unto him, Were there not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? (
