In Christian relationships (and all others too), some things are better said, some things are better read, and some things are better left dead. “There is . . . a time to keep silence, and a time to speak.” Ecclesiastes 3:7⁷A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; (Ecclesiastes 3:7). One of the first things a doctor will say when giving you a checkup is, “Well, let’s take a look at your tongue.” That’s pretty good spiritual advice also.
