The late author, Hamilton Smith. of England, has written a number of books and pamphlets on various portions of Scripture. He was associated with those gathered out to the Lord's Name alone and was active for many years in preaching the Gospel and ministering to the Lord's people. The ageless story of God's grace was very dear to his heart. and he wrote a number of stirring Gospel papers which have been blessed to many.
His valued expositions of Scripture, written in his clear. logical and reverent style, were most helpful to readers of a former generation and received a wide circulation. It is hoped that as much and more interest may be aroused by studying, with the Bible in hand. these "Perspectives on the True Church," and that they may prove helpful in explaining and making clear the truth. May the reader be established and encouraged by the truths presented here, and be led on, by the Holy Spirit, to a deeper, fuller devotion and separation to Christ who is our Lord arid the Head of His Body, the Church.
