All things are yours  .  .  .  the world.  .  .  . And they that use this world, as not abusing it.
This is a different kind of world for the Christian. This is the world we live in - the biological and physical world. This is the world of animals, plants and minerals, including the multitude of things invented by man. As Christians, we are to be good stewards of God’s resources. We should never wantonly waste or abuse the created world. The Christian should be the best “environmentalist.” With the direction of God’s Word and Spirit, we can have wisdom to work with and in the creation, without wasting it or worshipping it. We possess the earth, but God is the owner, and has loaned it to us for a short time. “A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast.”
