1
There were twelve disciples
Jesus called to help Him:
Simon Peter, Andrew,
James, his brother John;
Philip, Thomas, Matthew,
James, the son of Alpheus,
Thaddeus, Simon, Judas,
And Bartholomew.
He has called us too,
He has called us too;
Who are His disciples?
I am one — are you?
He has called us too,
He has called us too;
If we’re His disciples,
We His work must do.
2
Still today He’s calling,
Seeking those to serve Him,
Some to tell the story
Of His love so true,
Some to seek the lost ones,
Bringing them to Jesus.
If you love the Savior,
He has work for you.
