There were tithe regulations among other nations (Gen. 14:20; 28:22; Lev. 27:30-33; Num. 18:21-32; Deut. 12:17-18; 14:22-27). The Pharisees tithed their mint, anise, cummin, and rue (Matt. 23:23).
