Titus  .  .  .  my  .  .  .  fellow helper.
Titus was a Greek, converted through Paul’s preaching. He became Paul’s helper and on one occasion was sent to the believers at Corinth. From there he reported to Paul the effect that his first letter had had on them. He was employed by Paul to prepare the collection for the poor saints in Judea. Later Paul left him in Crete to set things in order, and to ordain elders in every city. What a privilege to work for the Apostle, but how much better to know that he was, in turn, working for the Lord Himself.
