Tomorrow.

“TOMORROW”— take no thought for it.
Why over-anxious be?
Thus didst Thou say;
Lord, I obey
And leave it all with Thee.
“Tomorrow”— unforeseen, unknown,
My Father, be it so!
‘Tis but for me
To follow Thee
Wherever Thou shalt go.
“Tomorrow” is not mine but Thine.
On Thee, Lord, I rely—
For every day Along life’s way
Thou wilt my needs supply.
“Tomorrow,” yes, my God, I know
The burden Thou wilt bear.
Then I can rest
Contented, blest—
Thou makest it Thy care.
“Tomorrow,” as in years gone by
Thou still wilt faithful be.
Thy changeless Name
Is just the same,
And I am dear to Thee.
