Trust Him Wholly

“There hath not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised.” 1 Kings 8:56⁵⁶Blessed be the Lord, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. (1 Kings 8:56).

You will always find as you trust in the Lord that He is just as true as His Word. The devil may try to discourage God’s people, yet faith in God gives the victory. We find people today who are trying to keep themselves: if they would just trust in the Lord He would keep them.

Paul learned the secret of trusting in the Lord and so can God’s people of today. Christ says,

“Be of good cheer; for I have overcome the world.” John 16:33³³These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33).
