2 Corinthians 5:3-4

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. (2 Corinthians 5:3‑4)
the reference is to a person raised from the dead and yet found morally “naked” in his sins before God. In
Matthew 27:28

And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. (Matthew 27:28)
and
Luke 10:30

And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. (Luke 10:30)
, the A. V. has “stripped” for the same Greek word.
