REV 16:9
9
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. (Revelation 16:9)
Men . . . blasphemed the name of God . . . and they repented not.
Revelation 16:9
9
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. (Revelation 16:9)
Later in the same chapter we read again that these men “blasphemed the God of heaven . . . and repented not” (vs. 11). And finally in verse 21 we read, “And men blasphemed God.” What had happened? Last Friday we talked about God giving man up. Here is the final outcome of that act. Man rebels against God with everything that he has. All that is left for him is eternal judgment. What a sad end. Turn to the Lord today while you still have a chance. Soon heaven’s door will shut and if you are not saved the only ones that will be around will be those that blaspheme the name of God.
