Hebrews 1-4 Part 1
Address—Clarence Lunden
DISCLAIMER: The following has been auto-transcribed. We hope it will help you to find the section of this audio file you are looking for.
I'd like to speak a little.
Alright, we're not going to take chapter.
It was like a few words here and there. Arbitrage purpose is more getting a little outline.
As much as the 13 chapters and we have to have 13 evening.
Perhaps we can gain a little outline of some of the book at least, and that might create a little more interest in our part one, the reading of the enjoying of it.
First of all, I'd like to say that the book of Hebrews makes up the subject of approach to God.
I've been man approached off. That's the subject believers.
The next thing is Hebrews is not like Ephesians where the Bleepers seem taken out of work from the 5th and entrest.
April was written to the Jewish people who were already in relationships with God.
And so you write to them on that basis as those who had never broken that relationship.
But now seeing it in the new light of the gospel brings.
And where there was faith to receive it, they went out right ahead.
Into the new order of things by faith.
Because as the word resulting to them, they believe.
Now the Jews were very well acquainted with angels.
In this first chapter in the second we have angels mentioned.
In fact, the Lord has seen us superior to angels.
And why is that necessary? We know he's superior to anything the Jews have seen angels.
And they've seen the the glory that attached to the sudden revelation of someone coming from heaven.
Like Manoa for instance, And Abraham.
Uh, I think.
And many others could be mentioned. Even Elijah Angel brought in the crews of water and the and the caves baked them on the coal. And the Lord Jesus has come simply as a faith born in the in the table.
And uh, he was a man among men.
And then he went up slowly after he was done with work, and he didn't.
And now for faith, the Spirit of God that's before us in this first chapter of Hebrews 3, Personal Glories of the Lord Jesus.
The reason is that man's faith must rest on something solid.
Otherwise, it is in faith.
If we don't have the word of God.
Believe we don't have anything that they can rest upon. It's always the word of God, nothing else.
There's no such thing as blind faith. As men say, faith rests upon the word of God.
That's all the Jew who was so used to seeing as angels, because the law was given by disposition of angels.
As of now.
God presents the Lord Jesus.
In the book of Hebrews to the Jew and all the glories of his person.
Because.
The book takes up the priesthood and the approach to God.
And if we don't have a priest, that's worthy of our notice with the industry?
Because we need a priest that doesn't simply associate this with the Tabernacle on earth.
And we need to create the rule, connect us with God.
And if we have in Jesus, there's one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, Paul said.
And so if we're going to understand and appreciate this particular connection to heaven, we have to have a solid ground about which for the rest, and those are the personal glories of the Lord Jesus, Who is he?
00:05:20
If I have to have faith in a person, I wanna know who that person is.
We have 3 scriptures possibly that would give us the personal glory and each of the different ways.
The Gospel of John, the first chapter, give us the personal glories of the Lord Jesus.
And it takes us further back than any other scripture.
Before there was the beginning.
We do have some problems as well, but I'm thinking now the new test.
Again, in Colossians we have these first glory.
There is the creator again.
But here we have in Hebrews his personal glory, and we're going to read them now.
Three Personal Glory Mansion.
We're starting the first verse. God, who has so many times and in divers manners faced in time passed over the fathers by the prophets, half in these last days spoken unto us.
By his Son or by Son, God speaking in his Son, who may have to fly in air, of all things, by whom also he made the world.
Now we have the Lord Jesus thing as the Son of God.
Now no Angel is ever spoken of.
In this way, except in the Old Testament, where they're referred to as the sons of God as a class, but not in relationship with God, they are the sons of God, but not in the sense which this term could be done.
In the Old Testament, the angels are spoken up as the sons of God and simply to distinguish them from men.
They don't have the term used for men in the Old Testament.
That way the new test doesn't do because it's been brought into that heavily found.
But in the Oldest of the angels I'll refer to in that way in connection with creation.
But here?
We find the Lord Jesus.
Is spoken first of all as up as the Son of God.
I want to go down to the 5th, 1St for the width of the angels, said he. At any time now it might be done this day that I forgot me.
This law in person is none other than the eternal Son of God.
Now this is very important, dear ones, especially for these young people who were going to school, and they're being exposed to the many things that the enemy would introduce in regard to the person of Christ.
We learned today that in some of these new translations that he's spoken up as a son of God.
These days kind of stuff. There's only one.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
Well, only one stock is only begotten.
Now.
This day and I begotten me, and again I will give him a father, and he shall be to me a son.
Now this is very important because this is where Christianity rests in the Old Testament, never taught.
That, to God, would be father of demand.
If both of them as the father of eternity, and that's the closest.
But in the mid estimate.
We, as the father mentioned over and over and over again, Matthew, Mark and Luke. John.
We have the Father mentioned constantly and then of course in the epistle, because Oxford characterizes Christianity, the New Order.
00:10:02
The Law and the prophets were until John. After that the Kingdom of God is priests.
Then the Father's Ages.
$1000 put in prison that we have a new order brought in.
So here's the eternal sunlight, because I've been down to the eighth verse.
It's established now that He is the eternal Son, but what does He say to his Son?
But other than that, he said, Thyroid O God.
Now to be saying this to the sun, thy throne, O God.
Is forever and ever section of righteousness except with Thy Kingdom.
So here we have the eternal Son, who is Himself God.
These are secure foundations, are they not for our souls?
If we didn't have something sounded like this arrested, where would we be?
Oh, I'm marvelous the truth.
But more.
The 10 First and Thou, Lord or Jehovah.
In the beginning it laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of Thy hands.
Oh yeah, the Lord Jesus not only asked the Son and his God, but now we have must Jehovah the Creator.
Three personal lawyers.
Now when we get to the subject of the priesthood.
If we're permitted on occasion, we'll find that this whole Order priesthood rests upon these three personal Lords.
Three personal guardians of the Lord Jesus.
You know, beloved, that if you're a believer, you and I are going to spend our eternity and companionship with the Lord Jesus.
What is eternal companion in that law?
These are marvelous things.
The other book of people doesn't take up the subject of the Bride of Christ.
The believer is the bride, but that isn't the subject of Hebrews because he's showing us our relationship with the Lord Jesus as his companions, just like the children of Israel were companions of both scenario as they went across the Willis. Because Hebrews is a wilderness book and you and I are still in the wilderness, a spiritual wilderness, and so we need this special truth for the wilderness.
To know that we have one who's interested in it.
At all. He's not down here now.
Yes, on high. They're interceding for us, so we'll get through the weather. That's why he called the Great Shepherd in the last chapter.
He is a Good Shepherd. When he laid down his life for us, He's the Sea Shepherd. When he comes to reward us all the way through the wilderness. He's a great shepherd going to take his hold. That's what we get in Hebrews.
The Great Shepherd.
As someone who said, it's the far greater miracle.
To take us through this waste, howling wilderness all the way home than it is to to.
Reenters in the first place.
Progress.
Well.
We have them the the three glories of the Lord Jesus, and in this same chapter we have.
The three ways in which you superior to angels the 1St is.
This verse rather, which of the angels said he at any time, nor by Son. So he's a buried angels and that he's the son of their they have no inheritance he got.
In the uh.
Seventh verse, we find that they're spirits and they're just servants.
Angel just started from East Golf.
In the uh.
00:15:00
13.
When it speaks of crisis as a creator, it says of the angels to vote. But to which of the angels said he at any time sit on my right hand until I make thine enemies like the school now this is a quotation from the 110 Psalm.
Where? The father says to the son, you said on my right hand, until I make your enemies. You're supposed to.
Now this is quoted at least four times I believe in.
Different ways in some 110.
And so we have them. These angels are ministering spirits, and they're sent forth to minister, for them shall be heirs of salvation in the last verse of this chapter.
And so remember as you go down that highway.
And your hubcap is possibly 2 inches from the next car vacation. Be sure there's an angel's handwriting between the two.
But we wouldn't be here tonight.
Oh, how much we take for granted.
We don't see them, but they're there.
I suppose we'd be really start with if we suddenly discovered how many angels were in this room this falling.
What are they here for? Their servants. That's why they're here.
Their servants to minister for those who shall be the heirs of salvation.
God has sent his servants to attend with his people.
I love these people.
Angels and power You and I don't. Today coming, we'll have power far greater than angels. But today we don't have power.
Know ye not that you should judge angels falsehoods?
Once you know, you're going to judge the world.
That's the place the believer will have.
When he applied to 1/5 cities to another 10 when we reigned with Christ.
Dead angels will be keeping guarding the gates of that heavenly state, Right, Sir?
That's the 21St chapter of Revelation.
We're now going to the second chapter.
They're much in this first chapter we've committed, but as we said before, our purpose is to get a little outline. Possibly might be an interest in the reading of these things and studying them. In the second chapter it says therefore.
Now we ought to get the more honesty than things which we've heard, but at any time we should let them slip. Now when he says let them slip, that's apostasy.
There is no such thing in Hebrews as a middle ground. You're either a believer or you're not one of the two, and the wilderness will prove it.
In the case of the children of Israel.
There were only two that left Egypt that ever ended the last.
It says with many of them, God was not well pleased.
Not all of them, but with many of them, what proved them the wilderness?
If thou faint in the day of his birth, disease I strength is small.
And so, one after another slipped away. Unbelievable.
It started out well.
But it didn't end well.
Now you'll turn to the Book of Jews, just for a minute.
You'll notice in the book of Jews that this is the.
1St.
Instance given of apostasy.
In the fifth verse of the book of June.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, so you won't do this. Ah, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt afterward, destroys them that believe not.
Save the modelality that when they didn't believe, he destroyed them.
That's the first example of positive. The 2nd is the angels who kept not their first estate in the sixth verse.
00:20:01
And the next is moral, apostasy side of the moral giving themselves over to fornication.
They're already suffering or undergoing the ventures of eternal fire.
As to their spirits.
Dollars.
Apostasy. Now Hebrews, gives us Either you're on this side or you're on that side. Either you're with Christ or against you.
That's easier.
And the wilderness proves where you are.
It doesn't make you what you are.
Because we we learned from the second, the third chapter that just won't watch your faith. You have eternal life.
If the word is mixed with faith, it brings you into immediate and eternal contact with God relationships.
But where there's no faith, then there could be all the professions. Still no life.
That's all. So he says here, you ought to give them our own teeth to the things which we have heard less at any time. We should let them slip.
That's the word which was spoken by angels. Now that was that the at Mount Sinai when the law was getting it was accompanied by angels to get that from 7th of ax.
Given by disposition of angels in the 68th style as well.
Every transgression and disobedience received a just recommended report. How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?
So if you and I neglect the salvation, we're still on the side of the loss.
One one touch of faith of eternal life.
The wilderness will prove whether you have that or whether you.
I know a young man who came to the meetings. I don't remember whether he broke bread or not. I believe he did, but I'm not sure.
And the one day just up and left. Never been staying in the meeting since.
I had a relative once that used to preach on the street in Los Angeles. He was at the table.
You can't speak to them with Price today.
Now in this chapter we have 4 reasons given why Jesus died.
It says.
A first house put all things in projection on this vapor, and that we put all in subjection under him. He left not nothing that's not put under him, but now we see not yet all things put under him.
Now the Lord Jesus died so that he could fulfill all the counsels of God. He does that through his death.
No, no, it was the 9th, 1St. But we see genius. It was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death.
Crown with glory and honor that he, by the grace of God, should taste death for everything.
It should read for everything.
He tasted death for everything.
Now it says it became him or it was just like him.
Uh, I'll try to explain that.
You speak of a certain person and how they did a good turn for someone.
And I'd say, well, that's just like him. That's the way he always asked. Well, that's what this means. This is just like golf.
And so if you wanna know the character of God, you'll learn it here. This is just like that.
What was the light on?
00:25:04
Bringing many stars and glory to make the captain their salvation perfect through suffering, he came down to the very place where we were to be one with us and like us, except for sin, He did not have sin, the Father person, or any person.
But as to the habits of life and all came down among men to be one with unlike us.
All the states that just like Jesus, that's the way Illinois for all eternity.
So for both of you, that scientified and they were scientified are all of one. They're not one, they're all of one.
Picture is perfect, is guarded lest we think that we have become a part of this without because we do have a divided line.
We're not part of the issue. We're just creatures and we'll always be creatures, but we do have a divine life.
He's not ashamed to call him brethren.
We don't speak of them as our other brother, though. That wouldn't be.
Proper if you can call us brothers if he likes.
Dislike. He doesn't dislike him.
An hourly curtain, thy name unto my brethren.
And so it says here.
In the 14 First, or as much then, as the children are protectors of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part in saying that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, and the devil deliver them, who through fear of death were all their lifetimes subject to *******.
And now we have the first of all.
In order to fulfill the counsel of God, he must die.
In order to deliver us from, uh, that ******* that that held us in. He missed that.
71St Wherefore are all things that behold him to be made like unto his presence, that he might be a merciful, faithful high priest, and things pertain to God to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. Now we have.
He died so that he could be a merciful and faithful high priest.
And also so he can make reconciliation Arizona.
More things first, it can they can fulfill the counsel of God which could not be completed.
Without his death, because we were sinners and the councils were that you and I would be the children of God.
In order that we might be sons, he had to die.
Also in order to.
Take away that last enemy, which was death. He had to know that power is dead to deliver us from.
And then the next is that he might be immersible and faithful hybrid.
That's the subject of Libra.
But also he says he made reconciliation on a call. Now he did this, he died so as to do all these things. And his atonement safety means to give God satisfaction in regard to all claims. The sins we've committed thought it's completely satisfied that we have been reconciled.
The Democrats. 4 things, then, do we have in this chapter?
And now in this chapter angels are completely satisfied.
In the first chapter, he's seen the superior angels. In the second chapter we find that he is not put in the hands of angels. The world's to come.
In the fifth verse, the Millennial Day will see man in Christ, Christ, and his people, all in control of the universe, not age.
00:30:00
Not put in the hands of angels, the coming age of the millennial day.
Now going on to the next chapter.
We have again not therefore, but wherefore.
Wherefore.
Slowly, brethren, is that lovely?
We have been set in parks with us.
Now remember, when he says holy brethren, it simply means in the sense that we have been set apart. There might be those among those who call the holy that aren't real, but as a company. Here his companion is spoken of as holy bread.
I say that because when you get to the latter part of this chapter.
In the 12 First, take heed, brother, lest there be many of you in evil heart abundantly.
Let's see, because in this chapter there are still those who are among the holy Brethren that is holy in the sense they've been set apart. That's what holy means.
Among them there may be though.
Who are not in themselves wholly at all through the blood of Christ.
Because it's all in the blood of Christ and they can pull it off, but positionally they're seeing this whole here position there.
The takers of the heavenly call.
Now you see, we have a colleague that's not earthly like Israel, where they went to a priest, have their sins put away once a year.
But we go to a priest who has already put our sins away and he's in heaven.
They're all set away. The fins are gone.
It's not up there now. It's been a seat for us that our sins might be put away if we're put away from.
OK, but he's up in heaven. What's up the elevator seat for us? Why?
Because of our infirmities.
That's why he's a faithful, merciful High Priest.
He's already made it tone.
Now we have the house registered.
But first of all, you notice consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus.
In the first 2 verses of our first chapter, we see him as the Apostle.
That is, he's the one who has sent him. But he spoke and God has spoken. From heaven in the sun is the apostle. Moses was the apostle. Aaron was the priest.
The Lord Jesus sent Moses aside in this third chapter, an Aaron aside in the 4th chapter.
These are not difficult things.
These are precious things because they speak of Christ. They speak of the new order of things. They speak of where we are.
Most of us don't know where we are, do we?
We believe the gospel, but we don't know where we are.
The Beloved were here, holy present, partakers of a heavenly calling.
Were in Christ.
And we have one who's up there interceding for us.
We're partakers of a heavenly coffee.
And we have one up there who is there living for us is our great High Priest.
And these are apostles. That is the one.
When we can learn the life of God.
That's that's the Spirit. Now open the scriptures to us.
Now it says consider the Apostle and high priest of our profession or confession we should be.
Christ Jesus does not Jesus. Christ here is Christ Jesus.
Because Christ speaks of him as the anointing of God in the heavens, but he's the one who's down here as Jesus. That's his name, Jesus.
00:35:11
It's a lot.
Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. You know, I think this is lovely.
As Moses has to retire.
God gives him a commendation as his house.
You know, Moses basically bad mistakes.
Got that instrumentation?
In fact, there's only one prophet that ever has any mistakes spoken of in the New Testament that he liked to God against his people. Don't ever do that. Don't ever tell God anything wrong about his people because he doesn't want to hear that.
And you know, Elijah lost his his mission.
Because he told God about the people, and God didn't want to hear it.
You know all of our sins have been covered by the blood of Christ. Why does God want to hear about them?
You're all covered on your blood pressure now, you and I, in order to be restored to communion, confess our sins. That's a different thing.
But God doesn't want us to tell him about our brethren, since.
He doesn't bother you all that.
But here he's commanding a.
Man who had in our eyes made him think what you see. His Oscar's heart was right.
Moses walked in the path of faith. Whatever mistakes he might have made, that's another thing that he walked in. The path of faith is partly right, and he's like the apostle Paul. Perhaps we should say he was blatant, not perfect.
I believe this helps, Mr. Brethren, to understand our pathway much better because, you know, so many times you find yourselves doing things we say, oh, I wish I hadn't done that. I didn't know I was going to do that.
It wasn't really in my heart to do it.
And we have this comfort that God looks at the heart, or man looks at the outer appearance, and there's such a thing as walking before God blamelessly, although we're not perfect.
Because there's no man that walks that sin is not strict yourself.
And it's a wonderful thing to walk into community.
And to walk in the sense of his approval day by day, even though we do fail.
No, that's what Hebrews is about to keep us in communion with heaven.
There's a difference, beloved, between weakness and willfulness.
And it's our weaknesses.
That our high priest is occupied with up there to keep us in the community.
Isn't that precious? That's what his work is, because we're never happy unless we're in communion.
Yeah.
No, this man is faithful like Moses.
But the difference was that months was a certain and this man is the son of his own house. Whose house are he?
That is, if you continue, if you're not an apostate, you're part of this House.
Are you a part of this House?
Well, believe in your heart you are.
And he's a subtle result. He has the right to do as he pleases. What is his house?
That's your first. That's yourself.
Just know that you're going to have such a big house for eternity, which you're.
Read the Read the 19th Psalm and you'll see something about it.
Because there's a little picture of it. Uh, as the Lord goes out over the vast universe. There you have a picture of it He has described as a bridegroom running the race.
00:40:13
Yes.
That's his house.
The man in Christ Jesus.
It's going to order the universe and we're going to be his companion. That's what it means.
In the ninth verse of the first chapter.
And the noise with the oil of Latinos above thy fellows or teenagers.
That's the sense of God.
He's been anointed with the oil of gladness above his fellows. We'll all be glad that he's above he's gladness.
Oh, what a precious day that's just around the corner.
Just throughout the book.
And beloved, if you and I could read it all the signs around us, we can expect to go at any moment now, any more.
And I think those who are not ready, who are not washed to that precious blood.
We're not ready for those courts of life.
No, and that's uh.
In this chapter we find in Price as the son of his own house, and then we have the solemn warning and the seventh verse.
Work for us, the Holy Ghost said today. If you will hear his voice harden not your heart. And I'm going to speak of three things here which are three steps downward.
Just slipping away for apostasy.
The first is the hardening of the heart.
Now I want to make a comment on that.
The 61St.
For some when they had heard it from Oakland.
Now everyone in this room has heard the gospel which you provoke God when you heard it by rejecting it.
This refers back to the time when the slide brought that that large bunch of phrase of Esco's grace two men had to carry. It was the grape. It was the fruit of that good land.
And as the people saw that through that good land, some of the spies told them that they were giants there and they couldn't possess.
And so they turn back.
And they had the water for 40 years in the wilderness. Because they did not believe God, they hardened their hearts.
Someone they had heard that provoked that.
Now, he says, harden, not your heart, as in the provocation in the Day of temptation in the wilderness.
When your father's texted me and proved me and saw my words 40 years.
Yeah, the next thing is, I would agree with that generation. Instead, they do always hurt her in their heart.
Now I'll make this fun that every nature must manifest itself.
There's still a little squirrel running up a tree.
And it eats the nuts and it runs out on the twigs. Very few creatures can do that.
Very.
It has its own nature. It don't happen.
It's over the horse.
How about a new manager?
The command has. It hasn't happened.
How about the old nature that land has? It has.
Be sure that it must manifest itself. Sooner or later it must manifest itself.
If you're walking in the Spirit, beloved, you're going to manifest the fruits of the Spirit.
If you and I are walking in the flesh, we're going to manifest the fruits of the flesh.
Even though we're Christians.
And one who is not a believer, even though he may make a wonderful profession, eventually he will manifest in nature.
00:45:06
All those earth in their hearts, God believed their hearts.
But what else do they do?
They have not known my ways.
You make no need to wait to Moses, but his axe to the children.
What is the difference?
Oh, but Moses prayed to God that he was as he took across that desert, did he say, oh God, show me the way?
Show me now thy way.
June and I want to discover his God's way, not D way.
That's evil.
12 First Safety, Brad and Lester being any of you, an evil heart of unbelief in departing in the living.
That's impossible. Full blown cost.
This was true, though to fail in the wilderness, and were not believers as it said.
The 19th 1St so we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Now the next chapter says let us therefore fear, lest the promise being left on the battery in his rest, and if you should seem to come short of it.
Because how to ask, was the gospel priest as well as some of them?
Was the gospel preached for that?
The inflation was that the gospel was preceding.
What does the gospel mean? Means glad Titus.
You know, we thought normally 10:00 and 9:00, so often it's out to confession. I'm out leaving our heart. But that's a quotation from the 30th of December.
This will do that.
The name of Jesus wasn't there, but the same principle was there. The word is naivete. It's not far off. It's naive out there. Just believe, that's all. Just believe the testimony God is getting, that's all.
That's on there.
That mountain, Leipz.
Not being mixed with faith and never heard it first too for we which I believe do ever interest.
As you said, if I sworn my wrath, if they shall enter into my wrist, although the words were finished when the foundation of the world.
Includes.
Now the rest have spoken up. Here is not the rest of conscience.
The rest is spoken up here, the rest that remains for the people of God at the end of the rope.
That's the 9th, 1St of this 4th chapter. So it's better that we not confuse subjects. It's supposed that those who are on the way have already had read to the continents because they have faith.
But there remains there for a rest for the people of God at the end of the road.
That's when we'll have our bodies of floor.
And the illustration given is in the fourth verse.
Well, I think in a certain place of the 7th day on this fly, that's the day of rest.
As God did rest the 7th day from all his works.
Now, as we go through the wilderness, it suppose that the believers occupied with works because we've been created to good works said to be.
We're not here to live for ourselves and one who is occupied with good works proves he's going on to that rest. But the fact that he's off the fight with good works.
If you live through himself, it proves that.
Probably he's not interested in that rest of the remains that people have thought, so they're interested in the press.
00:50:07
Present day, present circumstances. The remainder of the rest of the people of God, and they're the only ones that look at it with each other.
They're the ones who have faith.
Now, if we're going to get to that rest, we're going to have to. We have to have two things, and it's one chapter. Notice this here.
As I said, we're only getting a little outline here of the main points which are so important for us to make hold of.
Well, first we have the word. It's all it's living in, operative and sharper than any two edged sword dividing asunder.
Of soul and spirit, and of the Joyce and mirror, and of the deserter, Of the thoughts and intents of the heart of the movie, the motives.
That wasn't me dividing a Thunder of soul and spirit.
The soul is the seed of the desire.
The things that I want.
But my spirit will decide through the Word whether it's a God or whether it's of flesh.
The spirit of the man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of the Beth.
The spirit of man is that one contact with God.
And so that's one contact you need to know with the.
Word of God by the Spirit of God, whether or not my past is according to God.
Dividing the sentence of soul, spirit.
And it's going to matter. Why is that?
Well, I don't know. Do we have any doctors or nurses here tonight? Because we did. They would tell us.
That in the marrow is where life begins in the boat.
The joints are the secret places.
Of the heart rolling themselves at all.
There is what these desires arise, whether they're right or wrong.
They may develop later, maybe in years later, but they arise in the charts of the barrel.
Yes. So we have to have the word of God regarding to get through the weather and enter that rest. And the child of God has the word of God and erase it. And then Johnson.
But we have to have something else.
14 first.
Being there that we have, we have not. We hope to have. Beloved Israel hopes to have, but we have.
A great life for you.
That is passed down to but through the heavens, gone beyond all the created heavens, and sitting beside God on his own, He is God. It's a man up there at the same time.
Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession, for we have not in High Priest, which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. These are our weaknesses, not our sins, our weaknesses.
The high priest is for our weaknesses and advocated for our state. We don't have an advocate.
We have a high freeze.
High trees.
Where are we?
An advocate in the Epistle of John for our sins.
HRR. So.
We have nonlinearies. We've got up in touch with the field of our firm. In other words, we have a high three who can be touched and is touched. That's the point.
If we but but once at all points tested, like if we are yet without sin.
00:55:01
Let us therefore come boldly under the throne of grace.
Back and back and back. Perhaps you'll hear it. Is that what you said?
And I want you to get this point, beloved.
Because so many do not understand what prayer is about.
Let us therefore come bold into the astronaut brakes.
That we may have seen versus the receivable health.
They don't go to bank, we just go there to get it. It's already been provided. Otherwise it is the same.
Is that a big order?
All our faithful creatures we are.
And how we surround ourselves with that's terrible circumstances because we do not know.
The Word of God and the faithful, I agree.
He's already made the supply and it says those throw embrace and he wants us to go and get it, but we have to get it by face.
Is there anything impossible with God?
Has he ever put anything in your hands and he hasn't promised to see you through with it? Well then, why don't you delay? Hold on, This might be.
You know there's too much to say because it's not the word of God.
We make such a high profession today.
Of being gathered to the Lord today with such precious truths and we can trust God's eternity and how hard it is to trust Him for tomorrow.
For the circumstances of tomorrow.
You know, there's still the day America.
Build it in there.
Not like they were in another day, but it's still a day there.
As we need those scriptures like we have in the minor prophets, prove me now. Herewith, said the Lord, prove me now here, there.
We'll meditate on these first four chapters. It's good for ourselves. So we've seen that little M261.
And.
Hebrews 1-4 Part 2
Address—Clarence Lunden
DISCLAIMER: The following has been auto-transcribed. We hope it will help you to find the section of this audio file you are looking for.
In terms of the.
Hebrew.
We noticed at the end of the last chapter that.
The High Priest is brought before us.
And that's really the subject of the epistle.
Now in the beginning of this chapter is a.
Prescription. Uh, this priesthood.
And uh, I would like to emphasize that it has three aspects. Priesthood takes 3.
UH, characters.
First, an everlasting priesthood.
Because he may have told us.
And that is it. A priesthood after the order of Aaron, our infirmities and presence.
And that we stood after they already built his effect where his Kenyan priests at the same time.
Now these are foundation truths, beloved, that we should be acquainted with all of us.
Because this is what gives us comfort and joy.
Not all the details. That's good too, in our time to read them and enjoy them, but at least to have these fundamental truths.
Also Timothy hold fast, the form of sound words that means to hold fast and outline of truth.
Now you know very well that no matter how hard we study.
We were thinking of only that you and I would never get very far in the scriptures in the short life of ours as to detail, but.
We're expected to have an outline of truth.
This is what will keep us. This will is what will bring us joy.
And will be for the glory of our blessed Savior and the salvation of soul.
And so, if we could just get a little outline of truth, well, last evening we had the Lord Jesus theme as the Son of God.
Period. Angels, because they're not some. He is God.
And is Jehovah the Creator?
In the second chapter, we noticed that the World Cup will not be in the hands of angels. They're set aside.
And the Lord Jesus with the church.
Will be a son over his own house. That's the universe, the house that he created.
And who's are you?
You're part of that house.
If you haven't believed in dance.
And then we noticed that there was a warning for those who were having.
Heard.
UH reviewed the testimony, like those who brought the large bunch of grapes to the people, that there's lions, there's giants in the land we have.
There's no money because of unbelief. And so the warning answer those now who have the gospel.
Read to us like a month of them only now a fuller gospel.
Saw mourning for those who reject such a gospel.
There's two things necessary we discovered.
We're going to enter that rest have to have the word thought.
With great diversity.
Now this is a summary of the general thoughts of these four chapters that we had last evening.
Tonight I'd like to speak a little of the three aspects of the priesthood.
The first one that's mentioned really is.
And they uh, they stood after the order.
Of Aaron. I remember when Moses first rose up, it was when he was great and he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter.
And then he fled into the wilderness.
00:05:03
And uh.
He doesn't know why for the daughters of pullback, and he was there 40 years.
And he had to unlearn what he had learned in Egypt.
Yeah, to get rid of all the trash you've learned in each.
And then he was able.
Uh, to leave the children of Israel out. But he didn't know it. He thought that years before that he was able when he flew the Egyptians, but he found out he wasn't able there.
But when he was able, he didn't know it. And someone gossips. You go and deliver my people. Why? He said I can't speak. Well, they sit here and your brother will do the speaking.
Now this was a thought. You know why?
Because.
The Lord Jesus in Hebrews is king and priest.
Moses was king in Joshua. To get that in the Old Testament, Aaron was the priest.
Moses was the one who gave the mind of God.
Aaron was the one who brought them into the presence of God by way of the sight.
And it never would have done for one man to carry both of those idols.
God never intended one man to. He was testing, he was testing his serving and he refused because I can't speak.
So we get the lovely type here of Aaron that we're reading about.
Because the things that were written before time were written for our learning.
Not on the ends of the ages have come.
What do we learn from this?
Oh, we learned that we have a priest that is interested in our infirmities. That's something to learn.
Just remember, beloved, when you feel that nobody cares.
That nobody's interested in your problem. You can look up and you know, there's one up there that's interesting.
And he knows more about it than you did. And he knows the way out, too. And he'll see.
See you through. That's the priesthood after the order of an era.
Now the Lord Jesus could not be a priest actually after the order of Aaron because he's in heaven. He would have to be a priest on earth.
But you see, and you know it came from the tribe of Judah.
But you see, he was here already.
As in all points in which we were tried, he was tried without sin.
No sand connected any disk drives.
Like there are there are of ours. He was perfect, but still he fell exactly like you would feel and like I would feel.
Even to the tiniest Bay.
He was the true son of man, that is the person. But there never was enough.
Yes, he was a babe and he could feel from the very moment of birth and they.
Until.
He was a mature man.
And he left the state.
And now in the heavens he is able to succor those that are tempted.
Now that's the priesthood after the Order of Eric.
You know, sometimes we learn more by the opposites than we do by the.
Type being an exact Rep of.
What is being said for, And if so were there? There are so many things about Aaron that are just the opposite of Christ. What is that? Aaron die.
So he had to transfer his priest to someone else.
But the Lord Jesus has an everlasting priest.
Aaron had infirmities, so that, uh, he was.
He was not able, able, or capable of.
Doing with Price because he himself is a simple man. Christ bless you.
00:10:01
Aaron was never able to make the sacrifice of who to feed the crosses.
It just held off judgment for one year. Every year I preached how to go into the Most Holy Place through the blood.
Uh, the last whatever. Pull up whatever exactly.
Just to hold off judgment for one year.
But now we find Christ just the opposite, the only one in once.
Having obtained eternal redemption part.
So we have made this UH chapter.
Part of it, at least for now, for every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men and things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
That's the fruit of sin, sins who can have compassion on the ignorant and on them that are out of the way. For that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
There is simply a description of what a high fridge should be, and for reason here are the auditory for the people, so also for himself to offer for sin.
And no man take the dishonor unto himself, but he that is called God, as was Aaron, Aaron was called.
He was not put in by an oath, but he was called.
So also Christ glorified not himself to be made in my priest, but he that said unto him, Thou art my son today have I begotten.
As he said also in another place, thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears on him, that was able to save him from death.
Almost heard that he feared.
Though he were son, leave the AI. Though he was, though he were started, yet learn the obedience by the things which he suffered, and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation under all them that obey him. Call of God and I preached after the order of melted.
Now we have had three. Priesthood mentioned that you probably are looking for the second one.
And we'll have to go back to the Old Testament to get the height, so we'll understand it. But first of all, we're going to notice this first.
About Eric.
Give some sacrifices.
There's quite a contrast, you know, between.
A tremendous contrast between the pictures that Scripture gives us.
Umm, Aaron, in the picture we get across.
We know price.
Is, uh, appreciate in all perfection for Aaron, of course was.
Uh close about of infirmities in every hand, and he was only a a picture.
All priesthood is only a picture, and perhaps more Congress to be said than actual illustrating the point.
And so if a man were to be a priest, he would have to offer gifts and sacrifices. That was his work.
You see, Moses was king in Joshua. He didn't offer gifts and sacrifices.
He was the one who was the spokesman and gave the law.
The orders of people that the priest was the horizon, proximity, precious of God, and relationship with God, although at the distance.
As we mentioned before.
But now this errand. He's a type of Christ in a measure.
And you notice in the first verse that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices. Gifts and sacrifices. Notice that carefully and go to the 8th chapter.
And we'll see what ifs and sacrifices the Lord Jesus offered.
00:15:00
Because he would have to if he was to be a priest.
And beloved, what we're having here is the foundation.
Of all the offices of prices, please.
In the 8th chapter.
Third verse for every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifice, wherefore it is of necessity.
That this man as Christ has somewhat altered to offer.
Now go back to the 27 first of.
The previous chapter.
Chapter 7 and 27.
And the end of the verse for this he did once when he offered of himself.
He was the priest. He was the offering.
And it was a gift. Thanks be to God for some people.
So you see how essential these truths are? Because in Hebrews we have doctrines.
Fundamental doctrines of Christianity, not the truth of the Assembly.
But simply the foundation truth of Christianity. Everything is permanent in Hebrews.
Its eternal salvation, eternal inheritance.
For those who reject.
Everything's perfect.
And you'll notice, too, something very precious in Hebrews that you don't get exactly elsewhere.
It is the blood of Christ.
Perhaps What is the blood of Jesus?
Blood Cheese and that Precious. It's his person and his work healing.
Now, if you're really concerned about these precious things, this should mean something to you tonight.
A lot of Jesus. A man that walked down here, the one who has called us to be the companion forever.
Spirit of God sets him before us His person and his work is the blood of Jesus.
We'll speak more of that later.
Now what is the priest to do? Who can have compassion?
On the ignorance.
It never occurred to you, dear fellow Christian, that you were a priest.
Did it ever occur to you we're kings and priests?
Does this have any voice for me tonight? Do I have compassion on the Eagles?
Priest is supposed to do that.
Or do we ride roughshod over them?
Do we have any?
The Lord was characterized by compassion.
And then they're out of the way.
We have compassion on them. They're out of the way.
Well, you say, well, I can't walk with certain sister or certain brother. Well, maybe you can't. But you can have compassion on them, can't you?
Maybe they're going on very badly, but you can have compassion.
Even the book of Jews that speaks of apostasy speaks of saving them out of the fire.
Spirit of Christ.
You're free.
And so he has to offer for Sims, not only for the people, but for himself.
Because he was upset, Jesus blessed Jesus didn't have to offer for himself, but he did offer for us.
00:20:06
No, we wouldn't offer it.
Now on the 1St floor it says that no man takes a dishonor unto himself.
But neither is called of God as was there.
The Lord Jesus was more than simply caught.
You notice in the.
In the 21St verse of the 8th chapter or the 7th chapter?
For those priests were made without an oath. They were called, but were made without an oath.
That's it, with an old by him that said unto him, The Lord, swear and will not repent thou art decree forever after the order of.
So the Lord Jesus was made of priests by oath.
Not simply call. It's permanent, it's forever.
Aaron's praise You would have to see another taking place.
That.
Now we have introduced a second priesthood, and that's no kids today.
How tip is that?
And before we speak to Melchizedek, I would like to speak of the one that really comes before even Aaron.
And this we get in the seventh verse.
Who in the days of His flesh, when he had offered up prayers and suffocation, with strong crying tears on him, that was able to save him not from death, but out of death, He went through it, but He saved you out of it.
And was heard in that he feared.
That as he was hurt for his pilot. What does that mean? Well, that's a little difficult because.
Because it's it's very important truth that is.
The Lord Jesus made no reservations, no qualifications when he offered himself.
He didn't say to the Father. Now I want this offering to apply to the salvation of souls or any qualifications whatsoever.
They said it's that's what it means.
Perfect submission.
It's all enough.
Beyond measure, it is gave himself. Oh, I think that's precious, perfect trust and confidence in his father he gave himself.
It truly gave itself for our sins, but we learned that because that was God's purpose.
But simply, as a man offering himself an independence upon God, he just gave himself.
God saw to us that it covered our sins.
He's escaping himself.
He was heard for his pilot.
Get that into March and or another translation.
Heard in that he feared not fears in the sense that people use the word fear generally, but because of the position he took his man as a servant leading up to death.
Though he were some yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered, and being made perfect, he became the author of the eternal salvation.
And all them little babies.
Ovadia.
Take the same car seat up early. Convenience. That's your path.
Eternal salvation to all them that obey.
Now, this priesthood we're going to notice in the 25th chapter of Numbers.
00:25:10
In the 25th chapter of Numbers, The Children of Israel.
Had turned to wickedness just before the end of the land. A plague had broken out among them.
And how is the place to be stopped?
Well.
Read the seven first and let thinner head the son of Eliezer, the son of Aaron the priest.
Saw it, He rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand. And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through the man of Israel, and the woman through her valley. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
Those that died in the plague were 20 and 4000, and the Lord's taken to Moses, saying, Finna has the son of Elevation, the son of Aaron. The priest had turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake, among them that I consumed not the children of Israel, and my jealous.
Wherefore, safe, behold, I give unto him my couple of thieves, and he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was settled for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.
Now this is the first order of priesthood that we have in Hebrews, actually.
If the priesthood after the order of Finnex, the son of Aaron the priest, we've had Aaron of the type, now we have Sinnatham as a tie.
The thinner has is really the first pipe.
And just like Aaron Finna has, gives us a picture that is just in the reverse.
And it's often so tight because God wants us to get the point. He doesn't want us to be occupied with the time.
That's the purpose of parables and types. They're striking. They impress the heart and Parsons with the truth. And left we forgot.
Hi.
That's why there's so much illustrations of scripture are so much better than any we can find in this world through which we're passing because of the inspired word of God.
And now there's the picture here. Simply he made it.
So he's made it from.
He turns God's wrath away from the children of Israel.
But in doing so, he slew the one that was guilty the.
In order that he might have an everlasting priesthood, he didn't slay the ones who were guilty, because you and I would have been banished to them.
You could replace.
When you make the phone.
He took our place and he turned around and thought away from us by taking our place in just.
All of those waves and villains rolled over Jesus in our place.
He took our place.
He made a comment. Now this is the solid basis upon which the priesthood rests. All his other offices rest upon the fact that he made it fullness. He had an everlasting priesthood because he made his honor.
As we noticed in the 8th chapter, a man were to be a priest, he would have to have something to offer. First, he'd have to be a man.
Jesus was that, then. He'd have to have something to offer. He'd have that.
You offered yourself.
He turned God's wrath away. He made his phone.
God's people. So it's people who feel free.
To stop the play.
Oh, what a SEC.
Well then we've had the priesthood after the order of Aaron, which we need now because of our infirmities.
00:30:03
Anytime we lie as we were singing, and he's up there not pleading with God so that you and I might have our sins look like that was done long ago across the county.
He's not interceding for us so that we'll escape the wrath of God.
The thing has passed, it's all set.
There's standard iniquities. I'll remember no more. Why is he under seating there? Because of our infirmities.
Because of our legal system.
And he's providing so that all you and I have to do is go to that throne of grace and receive the grace you need for the problem at hand. Do we really believe this, friend?
Is this a part of our Christian life in practice?
And we go to that scroll and receive seasonable help.
Should be here. Practice will continue like.
What a glorious experience with the Christian to have day by day to see the hands of God in these circumstances.
Problems that arise.
Discover that the Lord is able to speak day by day and definitely see the hand of God in them.
This is.
They call it a victorious life of so-called it. That's what it is.
And you know, oftentimes there's so many things we allow in our lives that.
Hinder our souls from getting into His presence, and there's so many things that we're occupied with that are not pleasing with to the Lord, really.
That you may not be able to hear, our friends.
Steel is up there when they're seating.
So now we have the the priesthood act of the Order of Melchizedek. We haven't spoken up.
1St we have Finnehas Priesthood. They already makes it total.
We are the priesthood of Aaron in connection with our infirmities.
And that's the priesthood.
In which you see now on high.
Acting Forest in our weakness down here.
But the day is coming when he will take his full character as priest after the order of Melchizedek.
And now if you'll turn to the.
That's a chapter. You will notice a little more about Melissa today.
Although Melchizedek is really not the subject of hebrons.
Because he can't act according to that order yet, although he is a priest after that order.
He will not be able to act fully, and that's capacity until he's king on the throne, and then he'll dispense grace and grace.
That's when the desert will blossom like the Rose.
That's when the inhabitant no more shall say I'm sick, but they shall be forgiven their infirmity. That's when men will live 1000 years on earth, never be sick, and not die.
It's coming.
And the list of things around is coming fast.
OK, Any day, any moment now before we leave this room, we'll be able to speak to the president.
In the globe, in those holy courts, are we walking in path of holiness now?
Or whether it be a tremendous change, Jesus, God.
So the pattern changed tremendously, the pattern of our lives.
Well, in the 7th chapter for this milk today king of Salem.
That means King of Thieves.
Priests are the most high God who met Abraham, returning from the slaughter of the kings and lefties, whom also Abram gave a tenth part of all, first being by interpretation King of Righteousness and after that also King of Salem which gives King of Peace.
00:35:01
Without father, without mother, without his death, having either beginning of days or end of life, but made light under the sun of God, abideth the priest continued it.
Now many have gotten bogged down by trying to discover who this Melchizedek was.
But they missed the whole point, because God never intended for you to know who he was.
Just the time.
Whenever we get occupied with this type, we missed the whole point.
What the tides are for is it teaches the lesson.
To leave the rest go.
I don't know who most of the day was. I don't understand this.
We're not told to understand it, we're told to believe it.
Everything will be nice clear in that day.
It's hard to think of a human being on earth without beginning or end, isn't it?
And so God does not intend for us to try to discover who this person was.
But we know that's about him. When he met Abraham, he brought bread and wine.
It speaks of that which sustains and that which brings joy.
That's what he brought labor after the battle.
Yes.
And that's what this was going to have after the battle, when they're back in the land again and they make their milkshake, the deck king, they're going to have red and white.
They're going to have that which will sustain them. They'll never be short of breath again, never forever.
And they'll never be short of joy forever.
Oh, what a day that'll be on the earth. And long before that you'll be in the glory in our portion forever with each other.
Love Deep Restaurant?
Well, we have no physics then, and the order of his priesthood is.
Uh, an everlasting priesthood, and he's king of righteousness and king of peace. In the In the eternal state, righteousness will dwell, but in the morning all day, righteousness will reign. And that's what we have here, righteousness reigning.
That is, there will be no corruption in politics in that day.
There'll be one king.
And he will dictate to his people what they're doing. Everything will be in order in that day.
Because Priceline.
No doubt through a friend as we learn in zinc film, but still the array.
King of righteousness, let's think of the term.
He's king of glory too, That is a king of righteousness. He.
You know we learned in Ephesians for the Christian now that he is our peace, since not simply that he we have peace through the blood, so that we we know our sins involved. That's precious, but not as precious as the other.
Yes, remember that when sorrow and trouble trial comes and there's no comfort anywhere else.
And if you haven't seen them, you may see days like that.
When comfort will never come from anything except there.
No, I'm sad. It is for the poor world around us who do not know the safety. They cannot say he is our peace.
That threshold, that coming day, he'll be king of Peace.
What a wonderful expression.
Now in the same chapter we already have noticed.
I always should, uh, read the 12Th, 1St.
00:40:00
For the priesthood being changed, there is made a necessity, a change also of the law.
For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, which no man gave attendance of the altar for his evidence, that our Lord sprang out of Judah.
That tried to Levi, but Judith, of which tribe Moses makes nothing concerning priesthood.
That is, yes, far more evident that after the similitude of Melchizedek.
Their rise is another priest.
I know it's who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment.
But after the power of an endless light.
Erin Dyer.
Our praise will be.
The power of an endless life. Not simply an endless life, but the power of it.
Before he testified Thou art free forever after the order of Melchizedek, Quotation from Psalm 10.
Now the 18th and 19th verses. For this is verily a disembowelling of the commandment, and going before of the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did by the which we draw an eye on the God.
I'm going to simplify those two verses.
And leave out the.
Part that we write totally for us.
There's a settlement side of the commandments.
And the bringing in of a better hope by which we draw light of God. That's the reason.
There's a setting aside of the old order, the law, part of amendment, and the bringing in about better hope.
By which we are right enough. We don't call the night and call it on the ground of the law.
And yet most of the Christmas has gone back to the order of the law. They wouldn't say so.
But aren't they under the law when they you ask them or you say, well, I hope so.
The county on some Good thing they're going to keep themselves in a position where God will pay for them.
They don't know that their whole favor rest of how God accepted Jesus.
He accepted my substitute.
That's how I accepted.
Accepted by Substitute.
Setting aside of the commandment.
The bringing in of a better hope by the which we draw a knife we saw. Oh, how precious this is.
To draw a nice God by a better.
That's the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who's on our God?
Now those frees were made without an oath, but this with an oath.
The Lord swear and will not repent. Thou art priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
What does that mean to you and me?
What's up there?
Our own happiness he turned for eternity and our position for eternity.
And our life for eternity all rests upon the fact that Jesus lived as a man.
Forever.
He could stay in the 14th of John, because I live, ye shall live.
Because he lives as a man on high forever. You and I will live forever, and that's the only reason we will live forever.
If you'll turn to Romans for a verse.
You know, sometimes by comparing these verses we learn the meaning of them better.
Versions that sometimes puzzle us.
Next verse of the 5th chapter roll.
00:45:08
For it when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son. Much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Really, in the power of that life is what it makes.
For all eternity.
Days in the power of that light.
A new principle of life in Christ Jesus.
It's Webber founder.
The old principle of sin and death is gone.
There is a new principle of life. We have in fact.
Now it's different, of course, but a little differently in that Roman than it is needed.
Because it's a question of faith and righteousness, here is a question.
Of our standing in connection with the priest, it made its own.
All the same truth, but a little different aspect of it.
Yeah, 22nd verse we get a word that perhaps doesn't occur to many places, if any other place.
We hear brothers quoting it sometimes, this word, but here we get it by so much.
Was Jesus that Christ not the Son of God? Notice by so much was Jesus that the man, the man Christ Jesus his own name was made? Was Jesus made assurance?
He's the short.
He was the substitute, but he's assured.
That is, the price that was paid was Jesus.
That's how sure you're returning salvation.
The price that was paid was Jesus gave his life, he was assured.
Your, your eternity and your eternal happiness rest upon the fact.
And he is that sure.
Now we find that the priest before did not continue by reason of death.
But this man, because he continued ever.
Has an unchangeable priesthood, wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost.
Now, if you could ever think of a time in the future.
That you could speak of at the uttermost.
That's how far your salvation goes.
The other notes.
There's no time.
They all were brought into a system of things that never had a beginning of it.
We were brought in in time that we belonged to that system. Now the bad word to use I don't know any better because it's got a system, It's an order of life.
Because we use the word.
That which never had a beginning and will never have an end. Everything.
And you and I have been brought into it simply by a little touch of faith.
26 verse For such a high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and make it higher than the heavens. That's what he is now.
Bowling, Harley, Harley, Harley.
Undefiled separate from sender.
Hidden in bar.

Angel stopped them.
No.
You learned in the first chapter of Heapers we didn't have time to speak of it and we'll just mention it.
The sixth verse.
Where is the soft and misunderstood in the slide to loop 2, which is not a family at all? This does not refer to the first time that Jesus came into the world. This refers to when he comes again.
And again, when he bringeth in the first Begotten of the world, he said, and let all the angels of God worship him. They won't see him until that moment, these kids and God. And beloved, that's where our life is hid with Christ and God.
And again when he bring it.
Uh, the first begotten into the world is that and that all the angels of God worship him.
Ma'am, all the names of God are going to fall prostate before Jesus a man. Yet the race of man was lower than Angel.
And he left the the children of Abraham of hiring angels.
And angels will be the servants in that coming day of glory.
We have a place of Sutton's grace.
Well, closing this chapter then.
Who needed not daily as those high priests, verse 27 to OfferUp sacrifice first for his own sins and then for the people. For this he did once when he offered up himself.
For the lawmakers, men I preach, which have infirmity but the word of the oath.
Where did the O?
That is going back to the 21St verse. You see the word of the oath, which was since the law.
Maketh the son who is consecrated forevermore.
He's concentrated forevermore, so we have.
Eternal life, everlasting life, and forevermore.
They all mean the same thing.
So we're seeing that little hymn 122.
