The earth is filled with violence.
Things don’t seem to have changed much, do they? At the beginning of man’s history on earth, violence soon became commonplace. The second sin (that we read about) that man committed was murder. Violent crime today is so bad in America that even teenagers are killing each other. In Noah’s time God looked down and repented that He had made man. What must He think today? This world is ready for judgment. God is going to destroy the earth one more time, this time by fire. Are you ready for God’s final judgment and eternity?
