Twice used by the Psalmist in the sentence, “Moab is my washpot” (Psa. 60:8⁸Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me. (Psalm 60:8); Psa. 108:9⁹Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph. (Psalm 108:9)). Moab is to be brought down to the lowest servile subjection.
