What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!
What kind of man was He, this Jesus? He was God’s Son. He was the Creator of the universe. He had made the sea and everything in it. He created the winds and “gathers them in His fists.” No wonder He could call out, “Peace, be still,” and there was a great calm. This power is still here. Today He can quiet the storms in our lives and bring a great calm. When troubles get tough and too much to bear, turn to Jesus and let Him call out to you, “Peace, be still.”
