SOLDIERS! take your Bibles and read for yourselves what God does.
He manifests His love
“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (
John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
).
He invites
“Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (
Matt. 11:28

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
).
He assures
“Him that cometh unto Me I will in no wise cast out” (
John 6:37

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (John 6:37)
).
He pleads
“Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord; though your sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson they shall be as wool” (
Isa. 1:18

He beseeches
“As though God did beseech you by us, we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God”

2 Cor. 5:20

).
He commands
God... now commandeth all men everywhere to repent” (
Acts 17:30

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
).
He warns
“Because I have called and ye refused; I have stretched out my hands and no man regarded.... I also will laugh at your calamity, I will mock when your fear cometh” (
Prov. 1:24
