The Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
Here’s another example of the all-encompassing shelter of the Lord’s wings. Ruth was a Gentile, and as such was not eligible for the blessings of God, as were the Jews. But Ruth, because of the witness of her late husband, her father-in-law, and her mother-in-law, had come to believe and trust in the God of Israel as her own God. God showed grace to Ruth and accepted her into His family and she was entered into the lineage of the Lord Jesus Himself. When you trust God, wonderful things can happen.
