ACT 6:15
And all that sat in the council . . . saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.
Acts 6:15
I wonder how Stephen looked. Maybe he looked peaceful. I expect there was a look of joy, perhaps even a smile on his face. There was no hint of hatred or regret or bitterness. What a wonderful example for us to follow. Let’s ask ourselves the question: If I was falsely accused, as was Stephen in this passage, and lies were told about me, would those looking at me at that time recognize in my face the face of angel? This is a high standard for us, but one that can be reached.
