Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings.
I have tried for many months to encourage a young man to find some work. He has not been diligent in looking for work, let alone getting work and doing it right. And now he has been taken to jail for a variety of crimes and must stand before a judge. How much better to stand before the Lord and have Him say, “Well done.” God made man to work, not to want and to waste. If a task is once begun, never leave it till it’s done. Be that labor great or small, do it well, or not at all.
