And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground . . . worshipping the Lord.
Jehoshaphat had felt Israel’s inability to fight the enemy. So he prayed to God to ask for His help. The reply was, “The Lord will be with you.” The king’s response was to fall down (he and his people) in worship. Today we remember that we never could have won the battle against Satan, sin and death. Jesus did it for us. Now we can fall down before Him in worship.
