And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
The burnt offering in the Old Testament was just a picture of the perfect offering of the Lord Jesus on Calvary. When we meet together to remember His death, our worship and praise should continue throughout the remembrance service. How easy it is to be distracted by this or that. It seems that we can’t concentrate for any length of time on Jesus and His sacrificial death. Let’s make a special effort today to block out anything that would take away from our appreciation of what Jesus did at Calvary.
