My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
How often we want to give our heart to having fun, or getting better at sports, or improving our education. The Lord wants our heart more than anything. Where will you permit your affection to rest? On the One who loved you and gave Himself for you, or on the things that last only for a short time?
