David had had a personal relationship with God since he was young. He truly believed in the Lord and wrote and sang songs about Him. Many Psalms are about God’s power in creation and in intercession for His people. Let’s keep the praises going. No need to stop writing and singing either. God wants freshness and reality. If He’s given you a song to write, write it. If He’s given you a song to sing, sing it.
