Success

“Then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).

Each young person must apply the following three things in their life as soon as possible to ensure good, spiritual success. These three things are to be practiced daily — not just once or twice a week.

1. We are to search the Scriptures.

“Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me” (John 5:39).

“They received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures DAILY, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11).

2.We are to cry out to the Lord in prayer.

“Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto Thee DAILY” (Psalm 86:3).

3. We are to take up our cross and follow the Lord.

“And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross DAILY, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23).
