His Promises God’s promises are always solid and never fail. Here are three witnesses to this wonderful fact: Solomon: “According to all that He promised: there hath not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised” (1 Kings 8:56). The Apostle Paul: “For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us” (2 Corinthians 1:20) The Apostle Peter: “According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:3-4). We too can claim the promises of God. The Bible is full of these wonderful, sure promises. Search them out for yourself, and then rely on them no matter what happens in your day-to-day life.
