Three Facts Three great facts make up the testimony of our Lord Jesus, and we who know Him as our Savior and Lord, and who own His name, should understand the full force of them and maintain them without shame or fear. The Apostle John bears witness to these facts in Revelation 1:5.
1. Christ has been here: “Jesus Christ, who is the Faithful Witness.”
2. He is no longer here: “The First Begotten of the dead.”
3. He is coming back: “The Prince of the kings of the earth.”
As we consider these three blessed truths today, there will be worship produced in our souls, and we will spontaneously say from our hearts, “To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” (Revelation 1:6).
