His Glory
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). “Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Hebrews 1:3). “The Son of Man shall come in His glory” (Matthew 25:31).
What a glorious person we have to be occupied with today! This is the same one that John and others saw and companied with when He was here on earth. It is the one who is now seated at the right hand of God, and the one who is coming back to reign in power and righteousness. Let’s look up and get a fresh glimpse of this glorious person today. It will cause us to reflect something of His glories, while we wait for the time when we see Him face to face. “We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). He is indeed, “A glorious Savior.”
