A New Song
“O sing unto the Lord a new song” (Psalm 96:1).
“Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of saints” (Psalm 149:1).
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy” (Revelation 5:9).
The more you enjoy the Lord, keep company with Him from day to day, and read your Bible on a regular basis, the better equipped you will be to worship Him today and to sing that “new song” that He so delights to hear from our lips. Yes, the Lord Jesus is indeed worthy of our praise and worship. And our hearts can bow in adoration before Him today as we take time to remember Him in His death at Calvary.
Heaven will be filled with the singing of that “new song,” but we can start heaven’s song now and join together in the worship of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the One who gave His life on the cross. “And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God” (Psalm 40:3). He is worthy, a thousand times worthy, don’t fail to give Him His due!
