I Wonder
I wonder what today will bring,
As each new hour unfolds;
I cannot tell what lies ahead,
Or what the future holds.
But all is well, yet still unknown,
For all is in the hand
Of my unfailing, loving Lord,
Who has my future planned.
And so today I’ll live and trust,
Acknowledging His way.
And walk with Him through sun or rain,
Rough paths, smooth roads — what may.
And though I know not what’s ahead,
I know the One who knows,
And that’s enough, I ask no more,
My Lord, my pathway shows.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
