An Hour with Him — Part 2

(Continued from last month.)

“I am with you alway” (Matthew 28:20).

Oh sacred hour, when with His Word,

We read and meditate,

And listen to His voice so sweet,

His mind to us relate;

Such moments to our hearts recall,

His love, His grace, His all in all.

Oh blessed hour, when Jesus comes

To give the shout, the call,

That summons to the Father’s house,

His people, one and all!

We’ll rise to meet Him in the air,

That home of bliss forever share.

Oh glorious hour, when He appears,

To touch the world and quell all fears;

To reign in righteousness and peace,

And cause all wars and feuds to cease:

In glory we shall then appear,

And rule with Him, His bride so dear.
