(hornet). A town in the lowlands of Judah, afterward assigned to Dan (Josh. 19:41). Written Zoreah (Josh. 15:33), and Zareah (Neh. 11:29). Residence of Manoah and burial place of his son Samson (Judg. 13:2,24-25; 16:31).
