1 Cor. 15:13‑57• 13But if there is no resurrection of [the] dead, neither is Christ raised;
14and if Christ is not raised, then also empty [is] our preaching, and empty also your faith;
15and we are also found false witnesses of God, because we witnessed concerning God that he raised the Christ, whom he raised not, if indeed no dead are raised.
16For if no dead are raised, neither is Christ raised;
17and if Christ is not raised, vain [is] your faith; ye are yet in your sins;
18then also those that fell asleep in Christ perished.
19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are most to be pitied of all men.
20But now is Christ raised from [the] dead, firstfruit of those fallen asleep.
21For since by man [is] death, by man also resurrection of dead.
22For as in the Adam all die, so also in the Christ shall all be made alive;
23but each in his own rank: [the] firstfruit Christ; then those that are the Christ's at his coming;
24then the end, when he giveth up the kingdom to him [who is] God and Father, when he shall have done away all rule, and all authority, and power.
25For he must reign until he put all the enemies under his feet.
26Death, last enemy, is to be done away.
27For he subjected all things under his feet. But when he saith that all things have been subjected, [it is] manifest that [it is] except him who subjected all things to him.
28But when all things shall have been subjected to him, then also the Son himself will be subjected to him that subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
29Else what shall they do that are being baptized for the dead? If no dead rise at all, why also are they baptized for them?
30Why are we also in danger every hour?
31Daily I die, by the boasting of you, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.
32If after man I fought with beasts in Ephesus, what [is] the profit to me? If no dead rise, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.
33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34Wake up righteously, and sin not; for some are ignorant of God: I speak unto your shame.
35But someone will say, How are the dead to rise? and with what body do they come?
36Fool, what thou sowest is not quickened unless it die;
37and what thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may be of wheat, or of some one of the rest;
38and God giveth to it a body as he pleased, and to each of the seeds its own body.
39Every flesh [is] not the same flesh, but one [is] of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.
40[There are] both bodies heavenly and bodies earthly; but different [is] the glory of the heavenly, and different that of the earthly:
41one [the] sun's glory, and another [the] moon's glory, and another [the] stars' glory; for star differeth from star in glory.
42So also [is] the resurrection of the dead.
43It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption; it is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
44it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body: if there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual.
45So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul; the last Adam a quickening Spirit:
46yet not first [is] the spiritual, but the natural, afterward the spiritual;
47the first man out of the earth made of dust, the second man out of heaven:
48as [is] he made of dust, such also those made of dust; and as [is] the heavenly [one], such also the heavenly [ones];
49and even as we bore the image of the [one] made of dust, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly [ones].
50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God's kingdom, neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52in an instant, in [the] twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for it shall sound, and the dead shall rise incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality.
54But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written, Death was swallowed up in victory.
55Where, death, [is] thy victory? where, death, thy sting?
56Now the sting of death [is] sin, and the power of sin the law;
57but thanks to God that giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(1 Cor. 15:13‑57)
;
Phil. 3:21• 21who shall transform our body of humiliation, conformed to his body of glory according to the working of his ability also to subject all things to him. (Phil. 3:21)
;
1 Thess. 4:14‑18• 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also those put to sleep through Jesus will God bring with him.
15For this we say to you in [the] word of [the] Lord, that we, the living that remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede those put to sleep;
16because the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout of command, with archangel's voice, and with trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
17then we, the living that remain, shall be caught up together with them in clouds to meet [the] Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

33and he will set the sheep on his right but the goats on the left.
34Then shall the King say to those on his right, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the world's foundation.
35For I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
36naked, and ye clothed me; I was ill, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me.
37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, and fed thee; or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38and when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in; or naked, and clothed thee?
39and when saw we thee sick or in prison, and came unto thee?
40And the King answering shall say to them, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] to one of the least of these my brethren, ye did [it] to me.
41Then shall he say also to those on the left, Go from me, accursed, into the everlasting fire that is prepared for the devil and his angels.
42For I was hungry, and ye gave me not to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me not to drink;
43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and ministered not to thee?
45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of these least, ye did [it] not to me.

8but to those that are contentious and disobey the truth but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation,
9tribulation and anguish on every soul of man that worketh out evil, both of Jew first and of Greek;
10but glory and honour and peace to everyone that worketh good, both to Jew first and to Greek;

Rev. 20:10‑15• 10And the devil that deceived them was cast also into the lake of fire and brimstone, where also the beast and the false prophet {i}are{/i}; and they shall be tormented day and night unto the ages of the ages.
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found no place for them.
12And I saw the dead, the great and the little, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is {i}the book{/i} of life: and the dead were judged out of the things written in the books according to their works.
13And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and hades gave up the dead that were in them; and they were judged each according to their works.
14And death and hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
15And if Anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
(Rev. 20:10‑15)
 It was all well to have laid such a foundation once; it was childish to be ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth. Repentance is indispensable for a sinful man; faith in God must ever be in a saint. But eternal life is now given (Hebrews 6:1-3 by W. Kelly)
 The "washings" may include John's baptism, or that of the disciples, though the word slightly differs in its form; and the laying on of hands was certainly an ancient sign of blessing, which we see practiced in various ways even after the gospel. But those whose hearts dwell in such signs and set not their mind on things above betray the symptoms of their infantile condition. (Hebrews 6:1-3 by W. Kelly)
 "of resurrection of the dead and of eternal judgment." No Christian denies either for a moment, but acknowledges both truths; yet he looks for his blessing at Christ's coming, as he knows from His own lips that judgment, awaits only those who reject Him (Hebrews 6:1-3 by W. Kelly)
 The things spoken of in chapter 6:1-2 had their place, because the Messiah was then yet to come: all was in a state of infancy. (Hebrews 6 by J.N. Darby)
 The The washings refer to Jewish purifications, not Christian baptism. refer to Jewish purifications, not Christian baptism. (The Spiritual Condition of the Hebrew Believers: Hebrews 5:11-6:3 by H. Smith)
 The laying on of hands refers to the way by which the Israelite identified himself as the offerer with the victim he offered. (The Spiritual Condition of the Hebrew Believers: Hebrews 5:11-6:3 by H. Smith)
 Resurrection is of the dead, not “from among the dead,” as in Christianity. Martha, in the Gospel story {John 11}, believed in the resurrection of the dead; she found it difficult to believe in the Christian truth. (The Spiritual Condition of the Hebrew Believers: Hebrews 5:11-6:3 by H. Smith)

a
It is correctly "washings," not "baptisms." There is no allusion, so far as I see, to the washings of and laying hands on the victim, but to the ordinances of purification and the imposition of hands in the case of men.
