If it were last night that the Lord Jesus had been put to death by the world, would any of us be "hail fellows well met"? What matters if it were last night or over 1900 years ago. Some are insisting on belonging to this world and to Christ, too. Christ had nothing in this world, and my business is to pass through it as earnestly and as fast as I can.
