(1) Father of Jehoshaphat, the recorder of David’s and Solomon’s reigns (2 Sam. 8:16¹⁶And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; (2 Samuel 8:16)). (2) Father of Baana (1 Kings 4:12¹²Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam: (1 Kings 4:12)).
