(gracious). (1) Wife of Saul (1 Sam. 14:50⁵⁰And the name of Saul's wife was Ahinoam, the daughter of Ahimaaz: and the name of the captain of his host was Abner, the son of Ner, Saul's uncle. (1 Samuel 14:50)). (2) A wife of David (1 Sam. 25:43; 27:3; 30:5,18⁴³David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they were also both of them his wives. (1 Samuel 25:43)
³And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal's wife. (1 Samuel 27:3)
